On December 12th Estonia’s new ambassador to Bulgaria, Ingrid Kressel Vinciguerra (residing in Bucharest), met with Deputy Foreign Minister of Bulgaria Petko Doykov, to whom she handed over copies of her credentials. They also talked about good relations between Estonia and Bulgaria, based on cooperation in the European Union and NATO. Ambassador Kressel talked about Estonian preparations for the summit of Three Seas Initiative (3SI) to be held in Tallinn on June 16 and 17 2020 and confirmed Estonia’s support to termination of the Cooperation and Verification Mechanism for Bulgaria as was proposed by the European Commission.
