The Representation of the Estonian Embassy in Chișinău has launched a call for applications for micro-financing of small-scale development cooperation projects in the Republic of Moldova.

Micro-financing project proposals are welcome from the following entities:
– Governmental or local public authorities of the Republic of Moldova, as well as institutions under their administration;
– Non-profit organizations and foundations that are registered and have been operating continuously in the Republic of Moldova.

Estonian legal entities may participate in the project only as partners, in collaboration with Moldovan entities that fall within the categories listed above.

Applications must be submitted either in English or in Estonian.

Project proposals must align with the Strategy for Estonian Development Cooperation and Humanitarian Aid and contribute to the following priority areas:

• development of democracy and rule of law;
• supporting and empowering independent media;
• combating disinformation and foreign information manipulation & interference (FIMI);
• peace and stability;
• education

The maximum funding available from the Estonian Ministry of Foreign Affairs for each micro-financing project is 15,000 EUR. Projects are recommended to be completed by the end of 2025.
