On 18 March, the Estonian Embassy delegation visited Cluj-Napoca, the second largest city in Romania. Meetings were held with Mayor Emil Boc, Rector of Universitatea Babeş-Bolyai and President of the Romanian Academy of Sciences Ioan-Aurel Pop, Rector of the University of Medicin and Pharmacy Alexandru Irimie , and with Alin Danc, Cluj County Subprefect. Opportunities for cooperation between Cluj-Napoca and Tartu as well as the universities of these cities and the establishment of Estonian Honorary Consulate were discussed.
